Media upload, select file button not responding

    It’s really UNBELIEVABLE how many errors I must endure with the WordPress software at the moment.

    Isn’t there any solution???????????????????????????????

    @jsprhrmsn, I’ve not read this whole thread to see what people have and have not tried, but I will offer a couple suggestions.

    1. Have you tried doing the drag and drop for images where you drag them from your computer into the dashed box in the image uploader page?

    2. Have you tried using the browser uploader (link to that in the line of text right below the dashed box in the image upload window)?

    From my experience as a web designer, working with IE is alway (at the very least) a frustrating and maddening adventure since it each and every version of IE requires different solutions (which is why some themes have a separate css file for each and every version of IE). What works with IE7 doesn’t work with IE8 or 9, what works with IE8 doesn’t with 7 or 9, what works with 9 doesn’t with 7 or 8. When IE10 comes out we’ll get to jump through all the burning hoops once again. People have absolutely no idea how much time web designers have to spend on IE compatibility. It quite literally dwarfs the time spent on compliance for all the other browsers combined.

    Thank you for answering – I have changed to Google Chrome and there this, the videouploading works.
    BUT – with google chrome I can’t enlarge small pictures anymore. The ability to CHANGE PICTURES BY POINTS AND DRAWING LINES is gone. So when writing a post I have to switch between Google Cr. and IE7.
    This ability to enlarge by points and lines is SO VALUABLY! so I hope WordPress doesn’t take this away!
