media uploaded pictures dissapear in permalink posts

  Hey everyone,

  a few days ago i was having trouble inserting media into a post; when i clicked on add photo it would pop up a blank template version of my blog instead of the insert photo options. Every time I’ve uploaded pictures using insert photo option while writing a post previous to my latest one has worked fine. I ended up working around this by uploading the photo through the dashboard options, then using html to post the photo for my latest post.

  however, now when i click on a post to see it individually, the pictures do not show up, but they are all there when i am on my blogs main page. Does anyone know what is going on?

  I just tried P2 on my test blog and apparently P2 does not show images on the post permalink page – which is entirely strange.

  Contact staff and ask them about that is all I can suggest: http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

  I encountered the same problem when I tried to add images but instead of doing what you did, I actually went a little bit to the right and clicked on the “*” Add Media icon (that’s where the Add Image menu is now for some reason).

  and Yes there is presently a problem with images not showing up on the post permalink pages.

  Hey thanks everyone for validating the issue and narrowing it down to the P2 theme. I contacted the staff and through the link that thesacredpath gave me and was contacted shortly after by support.

  It seems as if the issue is fixed, images and html are now showing up again through a posts permalink. Also, I no longer can reproduce the issue with the wrong pop up when clicking add images.

  hope no one else is having problems anymore either.

  oh yea, and thanks fanofbaseball24 for your “thoughtful” input. haha

  lol, srry man, i just started my blog and was seeing if i could click on my face and go to my website….but i’m glad your problem is fixed!
