Media uploader crashing

When trying to add a pic to my blog, the media uploader either gets to a certain percentage and hangs, gets to “crunching” and hangs, or I get a server timeout error.
Am using Firefox and Windows 7, have all the updates, including the latest Flash, have restarted my browser, emptied cookies, tried a different browser, restarted my machine, tried uploading different pics on different blogs… all to the same. Haven’t found any help in the support or forums thus far. Thanks in advance.

PS: have tried both uploaders, and also noticing when using the “browser” uploader, other pages (non WP) won’t load.

you have done everything I wanted to suggest and so it looks like this problem hasn’t been solved by the systems people since last Saturday.
It is a matter of sitting tight and pray :).
Sorry, I can’t help and the systems people who should be helping must be busy fixing this.

Haven’t seen the thread that jtanna01 was referring to, but having the same problem still. Anyone have any sense of what’s up with this? Thanks in advance.
