Media uploading periodically balks

Two or three times, for periods ranging from a half day to three days, I have been unable to upload new media to my blog, either still images or video from URLs. I know there will be a problem when the media upload interface appears on a full screen instead of a popup. When I attempt to to upload a file or enter a URL, the screen simply hangs and will not revert to the post. The media never enter into the post properly. Does anyone have a solution or is there a problem on the WP site itself?

If you gave been following the specific instructions for uploading the particular kind of video in question found in the WordPress.com support documentation >
http://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=videoand the videos are still available from the site you are getting them from, and there is no interruption of the connectivity at the source of the video end of things, then you will need to contact Staff directly using this link. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

2. Some issues can be resolved by using another browser? If you haven’t tried another one then I suggest that you do.
3. Some issues can be caused by not updating your Flash. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
