media width adjustment
-
ok so having some trouble with the theme Twenty Eleven. I’d like to display media wider than it currently allows for. I’m trying to adjust it to 1170px however I upgraded my account to premium which should allow for this, however nothing changes. The display of my content/media is still the same 500px that is default. I’ve gone through CSS customizer and set the settings to 1170px but it still always uploads all my media to 500px regardless of how large the image is. Can someone help me out here? Trying to get my media wider to allow for more design content. Thanks

Hi there, I see that you have widened the #page div to 1170px. In Twenty Eleven, full and large sized images are set to display at a maximum of 97.5%, so we need to change that so that the images will display at the maximum width for the content area by adding the following CSS.
img.size-full, img.size-large { max-width: 100%; width: 100%; }Since there is 7.6% margins set on the #content div, your images will be about 1090px wide as displayed.
