Media will not load. Why?

    This is the second time I’ve posted this, so if anyone has a clue – please share: Suddenly I cannot upload images to the media library on wordpress.com. On my wordpress.org site the same images upload just fine. On WordPress.com using the drop-and-drag feature : the images come out of the file on the drag, but when dropped, they go back to my computer file, and do not load on to wordpress.com. On the choose/select files feature: everything just freezes. Again I can do all this with the same images on wordpress.org — I’m working on an Mac OSx 10.4.11 (it’s old, but it works). All images are 72 dpi and small. Any ideas why wordpress.com does not upload images?

    What is the filename? How much space do you have left in your media library? What browser and version are you using?

    file name example: DrawnComb.jpg
    media space : says I’m using 3% (three percent), 84.6 MB
    Browser and version (which is where I think the problem is): I’m using Camino 2.1.2 — none of the other browser seem to work with my very aged laptop Mac OSx 10.4.11.

    Any thoughts? but I probably won’t get them until tomorrow – no internet at the farm! And battery running out here at WiFi spot. Thank you for any suggestions.
