  why do I loose all my media (photos) that i loaded up some years ago together with my story blog? Only the newer ones are still there? What can i do???

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I already fixed it. The new photos that are still there have an url with: https://reisjogro.files.wordpress.com , the vanished older photos all had a different url, without “wordpress” in it. But why exist these different url’s and what happened with the old url?

  That image was from Facebook not WordPress.com which is why the URL is different.

  Facebook???? How is that possible? I took the url from my blog in WordPress, where i last week didn’t see the photos any more, that i placed visible in this blog 1-2 years ago. Maybe I could have taken Facebook photos for that very blog, i can’t remember…

  It’s common for folks to save an image off of Facebook and then use it on their blog. This particular image originated on Facebook.
