MediaElement Audio Player for WordPress.com?

  I self-host another WordPress site, which has built-in support for the mediaElement audio player. I’m noticing on my WordPress.com site that I’m unable to use this audio player by using the same shortcodes.

  Is the newer media player not available on WordPress.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
