Mega Problems and about to walk from WP

  I am about to walk from my blog. Since I have been in contact with support now I am having even more problems. My computer is crashing constantly, I am unable to comment on the blogs I follow from my reader, when in my notications and replying, the cursor freezes, forcing me to shut down my entire system and reboot. When I get back to that comment everything I wrote is gone. I am not at times able to get on my page … browser won’t load. Same thing with notifictions.

  I had a smooth system in place to navigate within WP all the intense work I do, but in the past one month my blood pressure is up due to problem after problem with WP. The sheer volume of people I deal with is enough and put on top of that always fighting to stay online, staying in my reader and notifications without it crashing or freezing, taking more time to go the each blog just to comment (unable to from reader) …. I’ve had it. I am taking time off because of this continued stress of nothing working right. I don’t need this stress in my life. I just paid $99 to renew my fee yet even the money won’t make me stay. If I knew of a way I would get out of WP all together. I don’t know what you are doing, but it is so wrong!

  I will not work with support. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME. I already spent much of my precious time with support and have gotten absolutely nowhere. As I said my problems have only escatalated.

  Hi Amy,

  We’re really sorry you’re having problems! Let me try to address each one individually:

  My computer is crashing constantly

  I don’t believe this would have anything to do with WordPress.com or contacting support. Both of those happen in your web browser so we’re not installing any software on your actual computer. Have you recently made any changes to your computer like installing or updating software?

  I am unable to comment on the blogs I follow from my reader, when in my notications and replying, the cursor freezes, forcing me to shut down my entire system and reboot.

  Have you tried another computer by any chance? I know that might be a bit of a hassle, but it would help us to nail down if this is an isolated issue on your machine or something larger with WordPress.com.

  I realize this is extremely frustrating for you Amy, but please know we definitely want you to keep blogging! It looks like you’ve built a huge community that’s actively engaged in your posts.

  To recap, could you try the following for me?

  – Try another computer if you have access to one

  – Try to recall if you’ve made any updates to your computer recently (installed new software, updated programs, etc)
