  Hi,

  I’m trying to create a website that I can use as a closed forum with a group of co-workers (300+). Do you know if everyone that’s a member of the forum has to pay for upgraded package or is it just the host? I can’t find a clear answer.

  Hi there,

  To do this on WordPress.com you will need a site on the Business Plan. That plan will allow you to install the membership and forum plugins you need.

  Individual users won’t need to buy any upgrades, but with the way membership sites currently work on WordPress.com they will need their own WordPress.com username accounts to be able to log into the site.
