Members Area – Menu Help

  Hi all,

  New to WP and inherited a site where I work, which has a menu option (on the left) called Members Area. This contains several pages only visible to members (when they sign up and we give them access).

  I’ve now needed to add to this section and link it via the main page menu (via Appearance-Menu). However whilst I can see the other pages in this section, there is no option to add one from the Members Area.

  In the Appearance-Menu, Menu’s have the titles of Page, Custom Link and Members Area but I don’t know to add Members Area to them.

  Does this make sense? If so, help!

  It does make sense! Could you send a link to the site? We’ll check it out and point you in the right direction for support.

  Also if you’d like, you can add custom links to your menu regardless of the pages listed in Customize. Here’s a tutorial:

  Hi Supernovia,

  Thanks for taking the time to respond!

  The website is https://www.ppsa.nhs.uk/

  You can see from the top there’s a Menu dropdown called Members Area with several sub menu’s in, some of which require a login. I’ve tracked these pages back to the above explanation. I can provide screenshots of the layout if this helps?

  I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you because your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Amazon.
