Members login area, I'm an absolute beginner

Hey guys,
I hope you’re all well. I’ve just started out on my business and I am initially looking for a ‘proof of concept’ (for investors) for my website which I will upgrade as I gain traction. My business is an online platform where I will require a members login area to access all of my content. I’m looking to have the website which has the usual home, about us, news, FAQ tabs but also have the login area for my members to access.
Firstly, does WordPress provide the relevant tools for me to create all of this? Secondly, what pricing plan enable this for me? Am I able to start this with the premium package and then upgrade to the business package when I’m ready to launch?
As mentioned in the title, I’m a total novice and this is miles away from my skill set but I need to learn and create something that will change a lot of people’s lives.

Hi there,
You can start with the Premium plan and use the Premium Content block which will allow you to accept monthly or annual payments on your website for access to exclusive content. You can read more about that here:

If you want to build a more customizable membership site, then you’ll need to upgrade to the Business plan and use a membership plugin.
Please note that you can upgrade from the Premium to the Business plan at any time and you’ll only be charged the difference.
