  Hi
  I am trying to make a members only page. I have a wordpress.com account so i know I cannot upload plugins so what can I do to make this members only page? If theres not a way to do it then can I change to a wordpress.org account so I can upload plugins?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  You can set a password for that particular page or you could have a separate WordPress.com blog that is marked as private, only allowed access to the user accounts you indicate.

  If either of those work for you and you’d like direction on how to do it, please let me know.

  Is there a feature on either wordpress.com or wordpress.org that allows people to get immediate access to the private pages once they pay the membership fee and create a login name and pass code? Or will I have grant access to each individual as they pay the membership fee?

  There’s not a feature like that on WordPress.com.

  With WordPress.org-based sites, there is a whole industry about that :-). I’m not familiar enough with all of the options, but there is a good deal of information about them online. One member of the community who wrote about it recently is Chris Lema.
