    I am looking at purchasing the membership to make my professional portfolio look a little nicer. However, I don’t plan on renewing it every year. I’m curious that if I want to show my portfolio again in a few years. Will I have to spend another $100 to view it the same way?

    When my membership expires what happens to my blog?

    Hey,
    You will have to purchase the premium upgrade (100$) to ensure you get the same look and feel after a few years. You will have to have the same upgrades to make sure your portfolio will look the same after years.

    Premium bundle is bunch of upgrades combined together. You might want to consider some of the individual upgrades to save up on your expenses. You can buy just the upgrades you want.

    When your membership expires, you will lose all your upgrades alone. Your content will remain intact at mantyaktportfolio.wordpress.com without all the upgrades i.e your Domain, custom design, premium theme etc will be removed.

    There is no “membership” upgrade here. Upgrades apply to single blogs for a single year only when they are due to be renewed. If not renewed then the features they provide are no longer available but the blog content remains. For example all URLs will be broken if you do not renew a domain mapping upgrade and all CSS editing will disappear if you do not renew. Hence, purchasing any upgrade for a year makes little sense unless you are engaged in a year long project with a predicable end date.

    WordPress.com provides free blogs and hosts them free of charge. There are no bandwidth charges. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. Free features are listed here https://en.wordpress.com/features/
