Membership – anyone can register

  I would like to have other people put posts on my blog. But there is no such thing as – membership / anyone can register on my block. Not under general settings.
  What can I do? thanks a lot!

  You cannot do that here. Each person you want to be able to post on the site would have to sign up for a wordpress account and then you would have to add them as a contributor at users > add new.

  Having open registration is a bad idea. I just spent two days going back through 1200 posts on an old blog that had sort of been neglected where they had open registration and posting and had to clear out tons of spam and junk posts. When I was done, there were 75 posts left.

  Get yourself either a forum or a wiki. Blogs aren’t meant for what you want to do. And then you can spend a good bit of time policing the forum or wiki.
