membership option MISSING!

    the checkbox for allowing users to register is NOT in my control panel…

    here’s what’s there:

    how come it isn’t there? can someone please help.. i’ve only used this blogware for a few days and im new..

    You have only been a member for 2 hours and have yet to create any content for the spiders to find. This does not indicate a crisis. However, your title is SHOUTING and that’s rude. Please don’t SHOUT. Changes are occuring here so take a deep breath and remain calm as you read this thread http://wordpress.com/blog/2006/08/04/custom-css/
    The bottom line is: If you have not made your blog “private” then the search engines will find it eventually. This takes approximately 4-5 weeks to happen.

    oh, sorry… didn’t mean to ‘shout’. but i wasn’t really, i guess it seems like it when it’s on caps. i wish i can edit it, i don’t mean to be rude..

    oh, and my blog site address is http://agapeia.com, running on WordPress wordpress-mu-1.0 :: silly me to forget to write that huh hehe

    i can deal with the css, but my problem is that i can’t seem to find the checkbox for allowing other users to register.. so when i use the tags to show the link to the control panel (when logged) or the registration page (when unlogged), it shows nothing when guests view it.

    EDIT: ok i got it to work now- seems i have to add a hack to the code itself for mu. thanks!! sorry for the hassle *embarrassed*
