Membership packages?

I would like to add a page during user registration that allows them to choose from multiple product packages, then has them pay for that package (or choose a free one) before completing registration. They could also upgrade to a different package after they log in. Anyone heard of a plugin like this?
I’ve tried searching but only saw ones that charge a user to create content.

That’s not possible on a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. There are no upgrade you can purchase to achieve what you want here at all. You need to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up a WordPress.ORG install.
We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and not for WordPress.org software installs. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Ah sorry about that, my site is self-hosted so I’ll head over to .org. Didn’t realize they were different!
