Membership Plugin Import trouble

I’m trying to import new members/users in WooCommerce Membership via a .csv doc. It mostly works, but new users get an email that includes their username and no password. If they follow the link in the email, they are asked to enter a password to log in. This obviously presents an impossible chicken-and-egg scenario.
Also, first names are not importing despite my using the recommended format for coding the .csv file.

If you have WooCommerce installed on a WordPress.com Business Plan or have a paid WooCommerce extension on a self-hosted site you can open a ticket while logged into your account at:
https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
But, if your site is self-hosted and built using the WordPress.org open software, you’ll need to seek assistance from their forums which can be found at:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce
These forums are for WordPress.com hosted websites. If you want to know the difference between the two, you can find more information in this document:

Well, we do have the former, and I am an admin; but every time I try to go to the support links found in your message above and in various places on the website, I am prompted to verify my email address. When I click the [Resend Email Verification] box, which I have done maybe 20 times now, I do not get a verification email. I have checked my SPAM folder, and it isn’t going there either. Long story short, I am in agreement that I very much need to create a ticket but cannot get to the portion of the website that would allow me to do that. Any advice?

Update: I found the original email asking me to confirm my email address, which I did. I keep logging out, and when I click [Log In] to log back in, I am automatically logged in again without being asked for credentials, which seems to indicate I was never really logged out.
I thought the problem might be with Safari, so I tried Chrome, which is different, but also not working. If I use the link provided above, it invites me to enter credentials but then times out instead of logging me in. Clear cookies, still times out. Go to WooCommerce sign-in-with-wordpress homepage and click [Log In], again times out.
Not a network problem, as other sites load with no trouble. Is the site just down or something?

It sounds like your WordPress.com account wasn’t verified, but that verification happened right inbetween your last two replies above, so looks like in fact it did work when you clicked the link in that original email.
If you tried logging in via that link after already completing verification, that would explain the timeout, as that link became invalid the moment your account was verified.
Clear your browser cookies again, as well as the cache, and unplug your modem/router for a few seconds to flush its cache.
Next, log into WordPress.com by going directly to https://wordpress.com/log-in and entering your username and password. Then try logging into WooCommerce.com again. Let me know if it still won’t let you log in there after following these steps.
