I have seen that tutorial. Thing is, I don’t want to create a subdomain.
I would like to have the whole website private. this will also be free membership site- it’s an alumni network website for our students.
I would like to have:
– registration & login pop up before the home page
-login popup redirect to homepage
-login connected to an individual profile
-members to able to post on a media feed
-media feed added to the homepageplease help, I have tried many plugins abd they don’t seem to work.
I have the business plan. I don’t have any more budget to pay for extras.

I’d recommend doing some research to see which of these gets closest to your needs. You can read documentation, look at questions and answers in their forums, decide which features are critical to your site’s function, etc:

But if you’re up for developing something yourself, there are lots of resources available out there.
