I wanted to know if I would be able to crate a membership site using WordPress. I want to have areas for forums as well as member profiles. Is this possible to build within the same site using Wix?

It’s possible to do this on our Business Plan, yes.

Then you can use a forums plugin like bbPress to create a forum. That comes with membership built in, in that visitors will register and create a username on the site to be able to post. I think there’s also bbPress add-ons you can use to customize the options for user profile pages, but best to ask the folks at https://bbpress.org/ directly about that.
Or if you want to sell memberships, so people need to pay to have access to the forum, you can use a separate membership plugin for that. We recommend WooCommerce Memberships, but most membership plugins should work.

Is there a limit on how many members can join and also will WordPress be able to have a lot of traffic and hold a lot of content?
Is there a maximum amount of GB that is offered with the business plan and if I need to expand (GB/Storage wise), are there options to do that?

The Business and eCommerce Plans includes 200GB of storage. Do you think you’ll need more than that?
Our servers do really well with handling heavy traffic. And we don’t limit memberships.
