  how much memory wordpress has for free, how many pictures and videos can i upload without the space upgrade, thank you

  http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/10/18/about-the-space-upgrade/ – you have 3 gigabytes of free space, enough for many thousands of images. You need the space upgrade for videos or music.

  Both videos and music can be posted elsewhere on the web and embedded in your WordPress.COM post even without the space upgrade:
