Memory usage of mobile app

    I have the WP mobile app running on my Android phone.
    It looks as though it is using a very large proportion of the device’s 2GB system memory:

    With the WP app installed, I constantly get memory maxed out warnings and typically have about 300MB or less available. (Sometimes only about 50 or 60MB.)
    With the WP app removed, that increased to nearly 1GB.

    I’m guessing the app is downloading all the blog posts onto the phone.
    Is there a way to either limit the amount of memory the app uses or limit the number of blog posts that will exist on the phone?

    Thanks for getting in touch. I want to be certain that I understand exactly what you are talking about here. Can you send us a screen shot of what you are seeing on the device from the following screens:

    Settings > Apps > WordPress and then again at Settings > Apps > WordPress > Storage

    Add the screen shot here with a third party link like droplr or CloudUp.

    The last point I want to clarify is if you are referring to storage or memory on the device.
