    Dear,
    I recently added a new item to my menu called ‘Reviews’. I created a new category named Reviews, and added it to the menu. The idea was to show only book reviews under a separate menu item, rather than show it as normal blog posts. Now the posts appear in the New menu bar ‘Reviews’ but also as standard posts in the blog. I would like them to only appear in the newly created ‘review’ bar. How shall i do it?

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software. For future reference, the best place to ask for help with the version of WordPress you’re using is here:

    That said, what you want to do is not possible. Category pages are used to group posts from the same category together under their own menu link, but that does not remove those posts from the main posts feed on your site – the main posts list will always show all posts published on your site, no matter where else on your site you list those posts.

    There might be a plugin that will allow you to do what you want, but the WordPress.org forums is the better place to ask about that.
