Menu

When I click on the menus on my home page eg News, they are not taking to the stories under that menu name. But when I click on category, eg News, I am to see all the stories that I have posted under that category. I hope it is clear. When I click on a menu option, it does not have any story posted under them.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
This is because ‘News’ is a category and therefore shows under category. While ‘news’ page is just a static page and doesn’t include the categories.
Permalink for categories display as: https://kenyaconnectt.wordpress.com/category/%5Bcategoryname%5D/
instead of [categoryname] replace category, in your case news.
So what you want to add is https://kenyaconnectt.wordpress.com/category/news/ to your menu.Similarly, https://kenyaconnectt.wordpress.com/category/business/ will show all the posts under ‘business’ category.
What you would want to do instead is link category pages instead of just pages in your menu.
First, remove the ‘News’ page from the menu and then to add category page to the following:
1. Open the Customizer.
2. Go to Menus.
3. Select the menu to edit.
4. Click on Add Items.
5. Select Categories.
6. Click the Plus icon next to the Category you want to add.
7. Click Publish to save the changes.Check this link below for details:

Thanks for this. Done.
Now, after following that procedure, how do I have those menu options appear at the top of the page, near the banner

Hi there,
You are using the Hemingway Rewritten theme. It’s the theme’s feature to display menu options after the header image. So you can’t really move the menu to the top of the page, before the banner.
Check more about Hemingway theme here:
https://wordpress.com/theme/hemingway-rewrittenYou can, however, switch to a different theme that displays the menu at the top of the page.
You can check among many options under free themes here:
https://wordpress.com/themes/freeAlso, one thing that I noticed in your website is that you have still not linked categories in the menu as category pages.
If you are yet to do that or need help with it do let me know. You can learn more about custom menus here:

Thanks!
