  The menu is not showing on my landing page after I have changed theme
  I reversed it back to the original them but it is still not showing – I have tried all I could think of with the customizer. Any idea? Thanks

  Hi there!

  Because your site is not public yet, I cannot check directly the menu. Could you share which theme are you using?
  You should check if the menu is still created, depending on the theme you have to create the menu from the site editor, the customizer or the WP Admin. You can follow these instructions: https://wordpress.com/support/menus/create-a-menu/

  And if you have the menu set up, check if it is assigned to a location: https://wordpress.com/support/menus/create-a-menu/#menu-locations

  Hi @layerplouf,

  Looking at your site, I see that you were able to add a navigation block back to your page template. Did you still need a hand with this?

  thanks a lot for your reply!

  these are my first steps on wordpress so struggling a lot! but yeah I was able to add a navigation block but it does not update automatically when I update the menu in the customizer… Is that the optimal way to do it? add a navigation block? Why would it not update automatically?
  The theme is Russell and I’m pretty I did assign a location for my newly created menu or the standard primary one… any tips?

  For newer, block-based themes such Russell, you’ll need to update your navigation block in Appearance → Editor, rather than using the Customizer.

  While you can select a pre-existing menu that you’ve created in the Customizer, it doesn’t update the navigation block automatically.
