Hi there,
I see that you’re using the Site Editor, so you can customize your menu through the Navigation block. Here are the instructions on how to do that:

I’m not able to add a page to my top nav/menu section. I’m in the customizer and adding the page from the “main” menu area. The other menu links work fine, this is the only one that doesn’t link to it. When I click on the link on the top nav, it refreshes to the homepage. Can you help?
I’m using the Russell theme.

@dianaadair98, you need to follow the instructions I provided in my previous reply. You’re using the Site Editor, so you must add any new menu items through the Navigation block.
-
OK thank you. It worked!
However, now I can’t get that “What I’m Reading” page to stop opening in a new tab. I unchecked that box in “customizer,” saved it, checked and unchecked it, saved it again, and even tried refreshing the page but it didn’t work.
The other pages all seem to work just fine – they don’t open in new tabs. Can you help?

Hello there,
It looks like that menu item is set to open in a new tab.
This can be changed via Appearance > Site Editor and via the navigation block as seen here:

I hope this helps.

One last question.
How do I get the text header above my image on my “About” page to align left?
I have a feeling it won’t move further to the left b/c it’s part of the template that I used from Russell. When I click on it, it already says it’s aligned left. Any way I can make it move further to the left so it matches the other pages I have?
Thank you.

Hi there,
Yes, I would add a Heading Block and select the Wide Width option to move your About header to the left. This is how it would look below:
Please try that option and let me know if that works for you. Thanks!

Thank you. It worked!
However, I can’t seem to figure out how to remove the previous header “place holder,” which is still taking up space in the top portion of the page–now there’s too much white space between the “About” header text and the image, which is not consistent with my other pages.
I would send you a screen grab but it doesnt look like I can.

I took a look at your site and while I see lots of space, I’m not positive which part you’d like to remove.
Could you highlight that on your screen grab if possible, then upload it to your media library?
