Menu

How to delete a page in your menu and add a category to the menu instead? I tried moving the page to the trash and it say it is in the trash, but I can still see it. I have added the category to the menu and it is there, but now I have two menu buttons that say “beauty” and I would like to remove the page menu button.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I see that I have three published pages – about the blogger, fashion, and lifestyle. Then I see that I have one in the trash which is beauty – the page which I am trying to remove and replace with a category.

Actually, try looking under Appearance -> Menus and see if you see the unwanted link there…

@abreujamil’s last recommendation is the more correct one. The problem is that even though you deleted the page to which it links, your menu is changed separately. The detailed description of how custom menus work is here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
The short answer for your situation is to go to Appearance> Menus and under your menu structure delete the “beauty” page (not the “beauty category) Click save and you should be set.
@abreujamil–now that we know this isn’t a bug, could you remove your “modlook” tag? It will save staff some time if they know they don’t need to visit this thread.
