If I open my blog, there is a main page – header and my latest post. I created an ABOUT page and it shows in the menu abowe my header. If I click on it, it shows my ABOUT page – excellent!
But how can I get back to my previous screen? I mean to the initial one, which comes up if I open my blog /header and latest post/. Is it working only via “back arrow” in my browser?
Ive tried to create another page HOME. I put it to the first position, it has shown itself in the menu /I had two items there now - HOME and ABOUT/ and I hoped that from ABOUT page I can get back to the initial page via clicking on the "HOME". But it didnt happend, only new page with nothing but a word HOME has shown up.
My problem is that I don`t know how to set the initial screen of my blog /the header and the latest post/ to the menu for the reason get back to that screen from the different sites which I open /for example from ABOUT, CONTACT, etc./
Thank you.

The regular top menu of the theme has a built-in Home link. Just go to Appearance > Menus, select the blank option from the Theme Locations pulldown, save.

Thank’ a mill. my friend. The problem is resolved.
The built-in Home link didn`t appeared on the screen automatically when I was building my menu. It was in the small “Page” window but invisible.
Now, everything is OK. /I am just starting now and I am not sure if WP is for beginners too. It requires a lot of skills to use it`s full potencial. Recently I was watching a CONTACT FORM 7 installation and for example I even can’t see a Plug-in option in my Dashboard. Could you recommend me some link where could I find really deep detailed step-by-step guide for WP? Thank you./ -
There is no FTP access to free whosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install plugins. You are reading what applies to wordpress.org installs only and not to your blog. The two are very different > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
