menu anchor links

    Hi. I am using elementor. I have several menu items with submenu items underneath them. The submenu items have anchor widgets to link to specific places on the page, all that works. What I need help on is if I am on a different page and try to click on a sub item in the menu that I am not one it will not take me to the place on the page or even take me to that different page. For example, my menus are: menu1, menu2, menu3, under menu1, I have submenu11, submenu12, submenu13. Under menu2, I have submenu21, submenu22, submenu23. Under menu3, I have submenu31, submenu32 and submenu33. If I am in menu1 and try to click on submenu22 it will not bring me to the submenu22 page, it keeps me on the same page. But if I am in menu2 and click on submenu22 I will get to the proper spot on the page. pleas help! I am very new at this.
