Hi there!
When you click Recipe on the menu across the top of your site, this page opens up. It’s empty because you haven’t yet added anything to this page. You can edit the page and insert a Blog Posts block.
Using this block, you can display all your posts or limit them to certain categories/tags. If all your posts are going to be recipes, then you can insert the Blog Posts block, and it will display all the latest posts.
If you want to post about other things as well, you can add a category called “Recipe” (if one doesn’t already exist) and then use the filters option on the Blog Posts block to show only the posts that have the “Recipe” category.
Following a similar approach, you can create different pages and insert the Blog Posts block on those pages. Then configure the block to display posts with specific tags (like burgers, soups, etc.). The posts will begin to show up on those pages once the tags or categories are added.
Also, after publishing new pages, you will want to add them to the menu (which you’re referring to as tabs).
I’m sharing some relevant resources for you to check out below to get a better understanding of this:

You can add as many pages to your site as you would like, and you can update your pages as many times as you want. After you create a page, you can add it to your site’s navigation menu so your visitors can find it.Use the Blog Post block to insert a list or grid of up to 100 blog posts (or pages, testimonials, or projects!) on any page. They both allow you to organize content that can then be used in a variety of ways. However there are a few differences. Categories are best used for broad groupings of topics. For example, if you’re creating a site that reviews media, you might use categories such as Books or Film or TV. Tags are much more specific topics that you want to use to associYou can find even more resources, including free courses, at https://wordpress.com/learn
