1)When i publish an article it comes with the date of the day i'm publishing whilst i would like wordpress to show the date of the event. How can i do?Event’s and Post’s are separate Content types. Posts show the dates when they get Published. It is not possible to show an Upcoming Date(Late date/Event Date).
There can Work Arounds to help your purpose, here are few ways:
1)You can disable the Publishing dates, using your theme’s content options. You can disable the date and manually input the date within your post. You could try to embed it within your title so it would get highlighted too.
2)You can use ICalendar or Google Calendar for your Events, and use the Post and the upcoming event widget to show your events. You can create your event and interlink the content(posts as well) which would be very useful to serve your purpose.
3)You could also consider managing your event using the Evenbrite platform within WordPress.com to make it very easy for you to manage your event.
2) I have created a menu on top of the page but now i'm not able to delete it or modify - the problem is that articles do not appear under the categories.... they only appear on the side menu - categories. You can manage your Menu by navigating to MySites->Customize->Menus. You would find you under the Primary tab. You can learn to manage and edit your menu using this information.
To have your post’s correctly appear in the Menu item’s you have to set them up as category pages. You will have to set the menu items and the posts to the correct category for them to appear correctly on the respective page. The category pages support document explains the details.
Also, note we have a dedicated italian forum to help you as well.
Hope this helps, please let me know if I can assist you any further.
Thanks!

.how can i create a newsletter?
how can people suscribe?re: wordpress.com blog subscriptions
All that’s required to follow any blog hosted by wordpress.COM is exactly what you were required to provide to register here, and that is a valid email address that the published posts can be sent to.
Here subscribers control their own subscriptions and frequency of receipt of posts from sites they subscribe to. We cannot act on their behalf. More to the point is the fact that when email addresses are submitted for the purpose of receiving blog updates that is the only purpose they can be used for.
You can set up email subscriptions here > Appearance > Widgets > Follow Blog Widget by using this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
Widgets can be configured to appear only on certain pages (or be hidden on certain pages) by clicking on the Visibility button.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibilityWe have a blog subscription shortcode which you can make use of. The help page on it is right here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscription-shortcode/ You can also include the subscription shortcode at the end of every post you publish.
The mailchimp and aweber pop-up subscription code provided by those source sites will not operate on WordPress.COM hosted sites. Staff have recently added the mailchimp widget for subscriptions and here is the link to the guide you must use https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp
