Menu and Links question
-
Hi,
I had two questions and would appreciate help with any of them!
1) I was wondering if there was any way to have resume, feature video and writing samples ( all separate pages) so they up under a more general category like “What I Do”…even if “What I Do” isn’t a page, could I create it in some way so that pages could be underneath of that on the menu?
2) Also, is there way to show clean links? Like I could insert my Twitter link but instead of showing the actual link have it read “Twitter” and then take to the link upon clicking?
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Static pages cannot have categrories or tags assigned to them. Only posts can be categorized and tagged.
Restructuring a blog to become a webiste
Staff have provided this support documentation entry. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-wordpress-to-create-a-website/There is only one dynamic page in a blog and we cannot post to more that one page. What’s critical is to understand when creating a website structure the following:
1. The differences between pages and posts and the impact of choosing to restruture a blog to become page based.

2. We organize our posts by use of categories and how to set up custom menus. Although we cannot post to more than one page in a blog we can create the appearance that we have done that by setting up a custom menu and displaying Categories in tabs along the horizontal navigation menu. That feature is available for some themes but not for all themes.

P.S. Not to worry. As soon as you publish a post the 404 page not found caused by deleting the Hello World post will disappear.
