Menu and Pages entry linked to wrong page
-
I changed the front page from a static page to the posts page, and it now shows the wrong page. My posts page is title ‘Action Alerts and Information.’ In the Customize function, it says ‘Action Alerts and Information’ is both the posts page and the front page. However, the page that’s actually showing up as the front page is an entirely different page called ‘Prager University on Environmental Issues.’
When you click ‘Action Alerts and Information’ in the menu, it also navigates to the ‘Prager University on Environmental Issues’ page. Even on the All Pages page, when I click View for the ‘Action Alerts and Information’ page, it also takes me to the ‘Prager University on Environmental Issues’ page.
Somehow the pages got cross linked, and the WordPress software thinks the ‘Prager University on Environmental Issues’ page is the ‘Action Alerts and Information’ page. How do I fix this?
Also, the web site is very slow now. It takes forever to do anything. I keep getting a message that ‘wordpress.com is not responding due to a long running script.’
Also, I have the Premium plan, so I’m supposed to have access to email and Live Chat support, but I can’t find any way to access that. When I click on Help, it just takes me to the community forum.

I think I figured it out. Apparently, when the posts page is the front page, it doesn’t have a title that you can navigate to separately. When you have a static front page, then the posts page can have a title so there’s a way to get to it.
If I change the front page back to a static page, then the posts page works just like it always did in the menu.
When you have a static page as the front page, you can also have it in the menu. I would prefer to have a way to navigate to the posts page in the menu as well as having it be the front page, but that appears to be the issue here.
