Hi there!
Can you tell us more about the issue? You should be able to add items to your menu without problems from My Site>Design>Customize>Menus.
Here’s also a tutorial on how you can achieve a multilingual site without the use of plugins:

What part of the tutorial cases you trouble? So far I do not see any menu on your site – it looks like you have added added a couple of them but never published them on the site. You’ll want to choose a location for the desired menu so that it can be displayed.
So, before anything else, please check out this video and follow the instructions to create a menu:
Once you have a menu on your site, you’ll be able to add there links to your posts in another language, as mentioned in the tutorial I linked before.
-
OK, I tried again.
I made the menu HEBREW and published it but it does not appear on the header.
What am I doing wrong? By the way, I dont have all the menu buttons that appear on the tutorial. Maybe that’s why it does not work for me? -
I can see you’ve now created and published the menu, that’s the first step. Now, for it to be visible, you’ll want to add some items to it. The items on the menu are what will be visible on your site.
You’ll want to click on the menu you created and then on “Add items”.
-
OK, we’re getting there.
Now there is the HEBREW menu. BUT the post appears also on the main menu, and i dont want that. I added a category to the new post but somehow it appaers on both the English page and the Hebrew page. Thanks in advance for yr help. Kinneret

On the “Hebrew Site” menu item, you’ve linked it to one specific post, rather than a category of posts.
-
1) I can’t find what I need to change. Can you pls explain ?
2) Will this avoid the posts I will write in Hebrew to appear on the main menu? Thanks. Kinneret

Kinneret, the menu is like a guide for your users so they know what and where to find on your site.
If you want them to be able to click on Hebrew and see all posts in that language, you’ll want to, on one hand, add a category like “Hebrew” to all those posts and, on the other hand, add that category to the menu. With that, if someone clicks on the category in the menu, they will only see posts from that particular category. These are called category pages:
Please have a look at that page and follow the steps.

In the previuos theme, it was possible but I cant seem to find this option in this theme.Next question – I published the page, but I cant seem to find it, Can you help me out here? Thanks a lot.

I’m not sure what you’re asking here. Can you please let me know more?
Next question – I published the page, but I cant seem to find it, Can you help me out here? Thanks a lot.
Pages don’t appear on the site after you publish them. If you like for people to be able to find that page you need to add it to a menu or in your sidebar through a widget.

Sorry, something happened to my typing.
if you see, now, the all posts appear in full length, one after the other rather than only parts of the post, . In the previous theme I used, it was possible just to see the beginning of the post but I cant seem to find this option in this theme.
Thanks, Kinneret -
Hi Kinneret –
No worries. You can use a post excerpt instead of displaying the entire thing. Check out these resources to get a better idea of what is possible.
Write back if you have any trouble getting that set up for the Hebrew category posts.

Thanks, it works. Unfortunately, I just discovered that writing in Hebrew is impossible and that the solution is to Use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rtl/ which adds two buttons to the TinyMCE editor (if you have it) to enable changing text direction from Left to Right (LTR) and Right to Left (RTL).
Can you pls elaborate what do I need to do?
Thanks, Kinneret

Kinneret –
You should not need a plugin. There’s some tips on setting up a multiple language site on this page:
-
-
-
-
The only way to have the editor be RTL, is to set your account and site language to Hebrew. If you have your site and account language set to English, the editor will be LTR.
If you type text in Hebrew, the editor should automatically display the text as RTL, but the interface will remain LTR.
