Menu bar colour change ….
-
Hi,
On my site there is a menu var below the header image:
https://thanetrc.wordpress.com/
Somehow the menu bar or the text links on the bar have changed colour and now no longer contrast such that you can only see the text when you mouse over them …
I don’t know how this has happened; some sort of update I guess.
Anyway; how do I change the text or menu bar colour … I can’t work out how to do that :-(
regards,
Rick

Hi
I see that you are using the Twenty Eleven Theme from WordPress.
You can find-out how to change the text color of text in the menu in the Overview of the theme here:

Thanks … I still can’t work out how to fix the colour of the menu bar.
I am sure it used to be black.
If I change the theme options to black I fix the problem but I don’t really want to do that I just want to make that menu bar black or change the text colour to black.

Hey thanetrc,
I can see you have changed the Color Scheme in the Theme Options. Could you try this?
- Take it back to the Theme Option you had earlier.
- Go to Appearance and then Customize on your site’s Dashboard
- Go to “Colors & Backgrounds”
- Click on the Palettes button and cycle through the available palettes, keeping an eye on your desired colour combination. The third one seems like the closest to what you had before the change.
- Click on the Manual button (formerly read as Palette).
- Your site’s background might not be the colour you want, so change it by selecting one of the provided colours or you could define your own colour by clicking on the pick your own color link
Let me know if it works out for you.
Cheers.
