Menu bar doesn’t appear
-
Even when I’m logged in, the menu bar at the top of the page where I connect to the dashboard, etc doesn’t appear on my screen. This has persisted for a number of days now, regardless of where I’ve connected to the internet. Any help on why this might be the case and how to correct it?

Does it show up when you are in the forums or on the main wordpress.com page? Is this on all your blogs and other people’s blogs?

I can see the blue navigation bar on your blog using Firefox 2.0.0.4
Log out, clear your caches and cookies and log-in again. -
The URL you’re looking at, teh browser and version that you’re using, and OS would be helpful.
I’d try logging out, clear your browser’s file and cookie cache and try again for starters.
edit: Trent, good idea about he forums.

It’s not visible anywhere on wordpress. I’ve gotten it to appear now by clearing the cookies, but it drops off again really quickly. Any other suggestions?

I can clearly see the blue navigation bar on the blog linked to your username using a firefox 2.0.0.4 browser.
Edit: I can also clearly see it using IE.I note you didn’t answer drmike’s questions:
What is your operating system please?
Which browser and version of it are you using please? -

I see it fine. You’re not running any security programs or anything, are you? When was the last time you ran a virus check on your computer? How old are hte virus sig files?

Viruses are clean. But, I upgraded to IE 7 and now it’s fine, so we can consider this resolved.
