Menu button far too small on a phone
-
On a phone the main menu for http://www.hambrestonbells.org is not displayed properly, there is just a tiny black square, top right hand corner of the banner, with a white dash in it. The Users are not seeing it. On my other blog http://www.candsbellringers.com there is a a nice visible MENU box. I like the theme I use for hampreston and do not wish to swap. Is there any way to improve the visibility of the menu?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Currently Mobile Theme is enabled on your blog – which we recommend. But, if you don’t like this black square, then you can deactivate the mobile theme on Appearance → Mobile.
Cheers!

I am concerned that would make the site even less mobile friendly as it would be slow to load. Surely a small black square is not suitable as a main menu icon? Don’t other users mind?

You are correct that if the mobile theme is disabled it wouldn’t be ideal for your mobile readers, but if you are extremely unhappy with the menu icon then I would disable it. I haven’t heard issues with it, but it might be a concern that the theme authors hear more. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to change the design. I’d say weigh what you think is more important and go from there :)
