Menu button not working

  Hi, I am not able to use my menu button in mobile mode. When i click the menu button the menu bar does not show in mobile mode. How can I fix this?

  Hi.

  From what I can see, the theme you are using is Newspaper.

  It seems that the Javascript function that should activate the mobile menu when you click on the menu icon is not working and might be obstructed by one of the plugins you have active.

  Still, there are multiple reasons that could cause that, from what I can see here (https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609/comments?page=360) so my recommendation is that you:

  1. Create a full backup of the site
  2. Please make sure that all the plugins and the theme that you are using are up to date.
  3. If the issue is still not solved, please disable all the active plugins and leave only the Newspaper theme activated. If that solves the issue, please re-enable the plugins one by one while testing each time if the issue appears.

  This way you will be able to figure out which plugin is conflicting with your Newspaper theme mobile menu.

  Also, from what I can see, you are using the self-hosted version of WordPress (not WordPress.com) so the right place where you should post is not on the WordPress.com forums but on the WordPress.org forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  However, taking into consideration that the issue is with the Newspaper theme, I think if the issue doesn’t get solved by following the steps above, the best place to ask for help would be from the theme developers themselves as I’m sure you are not the first client who is experiencing this issue, especially if you followed the steps above and there has been no result.
