Menu categories link to page

    Hello on my website the menu categories operate as links. These links will direct to pages where I have no edited any content and they are a basic page provided by wordpress called ‘Category achives’. I want to either turn off the link on the category button, so I want the items under the category to work but not the category itself. OR I want to have it redirect to my homepage if they are clicked.

    Hi @conorhanvey, you can edit your your menu as you like. Here’s how:

    Menus

    – Head to Customize > Menus > Menu Locations
    – Click Edit under your current menu
    – Add and remove links as needed

    I did notice the Writing link links to Uncategorized, and you currently don’t have any real posts on your site — only pages.

    Is that intentional? Usually for a blog you’ll want posts rather than pages, and you’ll want to put them in a category called Writing, for example. If you want to do that instead, can you try these steps?
