Menu Click Color and Blog Hover Text

    Hi could someone tell me how to create custom CSS to have the menu buttons go back to black once they are clicked? They are currently black, the hover color is green, but once clicked they show as blue. This is the code I currently have in the custom CSS.

    .main-navigation ul li:hover > a {
    color: #9ebf57 !important;
    }

    Also, what css code would I need to have in order to change the first blog hover text “Get a SitGo Dog Wheelchar”? Maybe I could add custom css that would change all hover text throughout the theme?
