Menu Colors

    When I create my MENU, the text shows up in the color, white. I’d like the color to be black. Is this do-able?

    Hi there,

    I’m not sure I understand. The only site I see on your @mrjaykins WordPress.com account when I check on our end is https://commentariesonislam.wordpress.com/ and for me this site appears to have black text in the menu.

    Were you able to sort this out on your own or is it the case that you have another site that this issue of white menu text? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

    Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Thanks for the response.  Since you’re not sure what I’m seeing, and I’m not sure what you’re seeing, maybe I could send you a screen shot, but I’m not sure how to attach it. If you can tell how to get a pic to you, and maybe you could do the same, and we can figure this out.

    If you’re speaking of the https://commentariesonislam.wordpress.com/ site, which is the only site in this account, you can upload a screen shot directly to the media library at My Site ->Site ->Media, and we can see it there.

    But the site at https://commentariesonislam.wordpress.com/ already has black text in the menu, as my colleague mentioned, and furthermore that site hasn’t been updated since 2018.

    If you are speaking of a different site, please provide the URL of the correct site so we can take a look.

    “Commentaries On Islam” is the heading I use on my blogs. I have used this title since 2014, but not as a name for my website.

    My website is discerning-Islam.org (previously, discerningislam.com.), and I only started this website with godaddy several months this ago. The account you are referencing is not mine, although they have used the same picture I used when first starting my blog on Facebook in 2014.

    I wonder if someone has tried . . . or is trying . . . to copy my materials? Not the first time. Strange, though, that it hasn’t been updated since 2018.

    Oh, back to my problem of menu colors. I’m afraid I don’t understand your directions for uploading a screenshot. I’m new at trying to develop a website. I wonder what led you and your cohort to this other website?

    Sorry, thanks.  I still wonder who the other site belongs to.  My wife reminded me that it would not be the first time someone tried to “borrow” my stuff.

    I’ll hit the other site you gave me.  Hopefully, someone there can help.
