Menu creation

  I am unable to create a menu. The ‘box’ on the left side of the screen says ‘0 menus on this site’. In looking at help pages, this box populated with ‘2 menu areas in this theme. Primary Menu’ When I try to save a menu, a message says that a location is needed. Any thoughts?

  Hello there!

  Have you created your Custom Menu yet? You need to create one of them in order to tell the Primary Menu entry that you’ve chosen a Menu to place in there.

  Here’s how to create a Custom Menu:
  – From your Dashboard, go to Appearance>Menu.
  – Click on create a new menu.
  – Give your Menu a name then click the Create Menu blue button.
  – Now the left area of the pages has turned clickable. From there, you can select the elements you want to place onto your menu. You can choose between pages, archive category or tags pages, external links, single posts etc.
  – Organise your menu (Here are more detailed info on how to sort out your menu)
  – Save your menu by hitting the Save Menu blue button.

  Now that your menu is created, you can select it on the Primary Menu entry! It should be appear now on your site.
