Menu for navigating within single page

    Hi
    I’d like to create a menu for a single (rather long) page, to allow users to quickly navigate to subheadings on that page. Can I create a ‘floating’ menu item (e.g. a little icon that says ‘Menu’) which, when clicked, opens to reveal the different options. When the user clicks an option they go straight to that subheading. The menu then closes to the icon but remains floating in view. I know this is a bit sophisticated, but can this be done in WordPress.com? I can upgrade to Custom Design if necessary, as I expect that would be needed (I am familiar with this upgrade, as another of my websites has this implemented). Many thanks, Rob
