Menu for Ryu Theme

  I want to create drop down menus for my site. I have the Ryu theme however, the sub items are going to the right instead of it being dropped directly beneath the top item. Is there a way to change this, or is that just how the Ryu theme is?

  The first sub items drop down when I check. For example, I looked at the sub items named Instant, Twitter, Tumbler at http://avirgorising.com/ — are those the sub items you’re referring to?
