Menu Help

I have been trying to get my MENUS working from like 6-7 hours but its just not working. When ever i click on the save button , the menu name doesnt appears before the plus sign. And other thing is that in my dashboard
Appearance — > Menu , I dont have that THEME LOCATIONS box. Can anyone please help me out , i have been trying to do it for hours.
My wordpress version is 3.2.1 and theme supports custom menu .
I on local host.
