MENU HELP!

Not sure what happened with the Adelle template. I’ve had this issue in all my new blogs, plus now an older blog. New pages do not get automatically added to the default menu. Once new pages are published, new menus (menu 1, menu 2, etc) are automatically created, which is very annoying. Then, I can’t see all the new pages I add unless I switch menus. I lost some pages on my blog, https://marinahassap.wordpress.com/ and now I’m getting three copies of the rest of the pages. What happened? Can I get back to my old menu for this site: https://marinahassap.wordpress.com/ ??? I was just trying to reorder the pages on the Default menu and suddenly I ended up with 4 menus and lost pages. Please help.

Update: I have had this issue with the menu with other templates, for other blogs. Today I taught a blogging workshop and my students had the same problem. They added pages, and the pages did not show up on the menu. We had to manually click Menus, then pick a different menu. I don’t understand why more than 1 Menu are automatically generated in the first place.
Very confusing for students who are first time bloggers.
