Menu help

    Hey guys and gals,

I have menu tabs above the banner, but I want one of them, the “Blueprints” tab, to be on the extreme right side (separate from the other menu tabs).

Is there a way to do this… ideally without having to reply on actual coding. I’m kinda dumb.

    Thank you in advance!

Will you post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question please?

    Whoops!

Since we’re talking about the blog (blueprints)’s aesthetic… I also want the menu tab to stay highlighted while you’re reading a post (it currently doesn’t).

Finally, I cannot figure out how to change the header for that page. I have a custom “Blueprints” header which I set up in the Feature image page, but when I see the blog it still shows the main header.

I know I know, so many questions!

    p.s.
I’ve read through and searched a bunch of forum topics and they were a big help in developing this so far.

    1. You can’t change the appearance of the menu tabs without the Custom Design upgrade.

    2. A menu tab is highlighted when you view the respective page. “Blueprints” is your main posts page. When you view a single post you view that post, you don’t view “Blueprints”.

    3. In the theme you’re using (and a few others), a featured image replaces the regular header when you view a single post or a static page. But when you’ve set static page A as your front and static page B as your main posts page, then you no longer see the actual page B: you just borrow its title, so to speak, to create the link to your (dynamic) posts page. Dynamic pages display the regular header image. So if you want a different header image for “Blueprints”, you need to do it the other way round: set that image as your regular header image in Appearance > Header, and set the one you’ve uploaded now as a featured image to your intro page and to the rest of the static pages you’ve added.

    Thank you so much!

But now a new problem has arisen. When I look a my site on my phone (an Iphone) the banner is the one I have set as the main header- which in this case is the Blueprints banner. How do I set the mobile to have a “featured” image?

Also, is there a way to get rid of the header text on the mobile version? My name is already on the header.

To my knowledge: no, but you can deactivate the mobile version under Appearance > Mobile.
