Menu in mobile view

    Hi – I hope I’m okay to use this forum for my WordPress.com blogsite. I’m using Independent Publisher 2 which I love. However, having set it all up I’ve checked the mobile view and the menu appears right in the middle of my header image blocking the title. I’m not a sophisticated WP user, so would hugely appreciate some advice around adding a code, for example, to move the menu to the bottom of the header image. Many thanks. Angie

  • Hi there,

    Go to My Site ->Appearance ->Customize ->Custom CSS, and paste the following on a new line:

    /* Move the mobile menu icon downwards */
    @media screen and (max-width: 480px) {
    .has-header-image .menu-toggle {
       position: relative;
       top: 60px;
     }
    }

    Also note that your plan gives you access to both live chat and direct email support for help with questions like this. You can reach those at any time by clicking the Help icon that appears bottom-right on all the My Sites pages, or else via the direct link at https://wordpress.com/help/contact

    Thank you Kokkieh – you’re a star – it worked brilliantly! I note you comments about support – which is really good to know. Best wishes.
