Menu item (page) must be link to category display

  Moving adagiojournal.com from wordpress.org to ~.com, some key menu items are not normal pages, but are the URL for categories. Example,

  http://adagiojournal.wordpress.com/category/technical-info/

  When I try to enter category/technical-info/ in the page URL/edit box, the PHP strips the / leaving this useless URL

  http://adagiojournal.wordpress.com/categorytechnical-info/

  What am I doing wrong?

  Category pages are dynamic pages. You can’t create a link to a category page by modifying the URL of a static page. You need to create and activate a custom menu. Details here:
