  I added digital photography to my menu however when selected viewer do not see the images unless they click individual titles (which do not display in blue ) as a link.. Am I doing something wrong

  That’s because the theme you’re using is designed to display excerpts on category pages. If you prefer full posts you need to switch to a different theme. See here which themes to avoid:
